DAY CAMP 2026
Multiple children can be registered on one page. We will be leaving the premises for some of our activities and permission/medical waivers will be provided at the event. If a parent is not able to sign the waiver at drop off, please email the church for a waiver beforehand at lmbt534@gmail.com.
Schedule:
Sunday: Morning Service 10:30, lunch, Akron Zoo at 2:00, Evening service at 6:00
Monday-Tuesday 9:30 am - 6:30 pm, lunch provided
Wednesday 9:30 am through Evening Service. Lunch provided, hot dog roast after evening service.
Registration: Monday 9:00-9:30
Zoo:
We will be going to the Zoo Sunday afternoon and invite all parents to stay and come with us.
Camper Pick Up:
We will not be able to accommodate early pick up for campers before 6:30 pm. Pick up must be by Parent or Guardian or Parent pre-approved individuals on the waiver/permission forms.
Rough Activity Schedule:
Sunday: Akron Zoo at 2:00, if you are attending church service elsewhere, please meet us at the Zoo, we would like parents to stay if possible. Feel free to bring other family, friends, and children to the Zoo. Registration Cost covers the Zoo fee for day campers. The discounted rate for adults is $10 and non-camper children is $7. Please let us know ahead of time if you plan for others to go to the zoo, so we can get the discounted tickets by emailing us at lmbt534@gmail.com. Discounted tickets will not be available after August 6th.
Monday: Horseback and Quad rides. Campers must have close-toed shoes for horseback riding and we recommend loose fitting skorts, or loose fitting athletic, knee length shorts for girls, please no skirts for horseback riding.
Tuesday: Swimming. Please bring appropriate swimming attire (listed in dress code) and a life jacket if you have one.
Dress Code:
Men/Boys:
T-shirts or collared shirts, loose-fitting pants, jeans or knee-length shorts and tennis shoes. No tank tops. Non white or medium-dark colored T-shirts are required for swimming. If you have a life jacket, please bring one.
Ladies/Girls:
Modest, loose-fitting, knee-length fashions. Tank tops, capri pants, and pants are NOT permitted. Non white or medium-dark colored t-shirts/shorts combo for swimming. If you have a life jacket, please bring one.
We will be doing games and sports each weekday, so please dress appropriately and wear appropriate shoes. Please bring a change of clothes each day in case of rain and when swimming.
Cell Phones: Cell phone use will not be permitted and phones will need to be powered off during camp.
Scholarships
If you cannot afford the day camp fee, please let us know, we may have some scholarship money available.
We will respond to your registration when we are back in the office. If you do not hear back from us in a few days, please call 330-538-3051 to confirm your registration.
